In early 2016 I undertook a project to chronicle and record every major story related to the business of esports. This project focused more on the forces that influence esports as opposed to tournament results.
- When I started I had a very loose definition of what was considered "business related." So as you go back farther in time be aware that earlier stories may not measure up to the same rigorous standards as later ones.
- "Type" was also added in later, so earlier stories frequently fall under the generic category of "esports."
- I was much more organized with 2016 & 2017. Hoping this will be the standard going forward.
I usually update this once or twice a month.
